Industry Membership

The DASH Industry Forum (DASH-IF) grew out of a grassroots DASH Promoters Group and was formally incorporated in September 2012. Today it has 67 members spread throughout the world. DASH-IF is filled with member companies who are realists about the DASH deployment challenges. The DASH-IF, representing all sectors of the streaming media ecosystem, is proactively and deterministically shaping the future and success of MPEG DASH.

The Streaming Video Alliance is a group of companies spanning the streaming video value chain. These companies are dedicated to solving the critical challenges facing online video to improve consumer adoption. Like other industry forums, the Alliance has established Working Groups targeting key problems.

Ultra HD Forum

The Ultra HD Forum is an open forum composed of a broad range of participants from the movie and television ecosystem, including content creators, content distributors, consumer electronics manufacturers, professional equipment manufacturers and technology companies. By virtue of its diverse membership, the Ultra HD Forum will advocate an industry consensus around common technical standards, recognizing that some types of content or delivery may impose certain technical constraints. The success of the Ultra HD Forum will be achieved when a new category of diverse Ultra HD content is commonly available through all forms of distribution.

The Content Delivery and Security Association (CDSA) is the worldwide forum advocating the innovative and responsible delivery and storage of entertainment, software, and information content.
